BE DRESSED AND READY

I awakened this morning to my usual cup of coffee in my secret place where I seek the Lord. However I was just about to go prepare my communion when I heard the Lord Whisper, “Go get dressed and ready”. Of course I had to ask “Lord did I hear you ask me to get dressed and ready?” He answered, “yes wear your nicest dress and get ready for a feast.” So with great anticipation I got dressed up and went downstairs. “He said open your best bottle of wine.” Because this is something I would normally not do when taking communion, I had to inquire, “Lord are you sure? You want me to have wine with my communion this morning?” He answered, “Yes I do.” Therefore I proceeded to get a small flute and He said, “No I want you to have a full pour.” I asked, “Really Lord? It is 9:00 in the morning!” He said “Yes I want you to have a feast!”

So I sat down to have the most wonderful communion, eating of the fatness of His house and drinking the richest of wines. This was without a doubt, the most memorable communion I have ever experienced!

Following our communion we went outside to the garden. He places a crown of flowers on my head. His eyes are fiery blue and His glance is full of unconditional love and acceptance. There is no other place I would rather be than to rest on His shoulder or dance with Jesus. He is so beautiful and has the kindest face you will ever see.

2 Peter 1:3-4 Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness. As a result of this, He has given you magnificent promises that are beyond all price, so through the power of these tremendous promises you can experience partnership with the divine nature by which you have escaped the corrupt desires that are of the world.

We all have this anointing from God when we receive Christ and this anointing remains in us. It is not by our own self worth but by His grace. It is a free gift. But we have to remain in Him by pressing in for greater intimacy, Once we tap in to this anointing through a deeper intimate relationship, His Spirit will teach us and lead us into His truth. See 1 John 2:27.

To have this greater intimacy or partnership with His divine nature changes our desires. We hunger for Him instead of what the world has to offer.

I Peter 1:15 But as He who called you is Holy, you also be Holy in all your conduct. The bride of Christ are those who will shine with a brightness and a purity, and a holiness just as He who called her is Holy.

Revelation 19:6-8 Then I heard what seemed to be the thunderous voice of a great multitude, like the sound of a massive waterfall and mighty peaks of thunder, crying out:

“Hallelujah! For the Lord our God Almighty reigns! Let us rejoice and exalt Him and give Him Glory, because the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come. And His bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, shining bright and clear, has been given to her to wear, and the fine linen represents the righteous deeds of His holy believers.”
